Αρχικά η Κάιλι έκανε ένα Insta story εκφράζοντας πόσο λυπημένη είναι για το θάνατο σχεδόν ενός δισεκατομμυρίου ζώων από τις φωτιές στην Αυστραλία.
Αμέσως μετά όμως η 22χρονη ανέβασε στα stories του Instagram μια φωτογραφία στην οποία φιγουράρουν οι αξίας 1.480 δολαρίων Louis Vuitton παντόφλες της από γούνα μινκ όπως ανέφερε το Cosmopolitan.
Όπως ήταν φυσικό το Twitter αντέδρασε με ποικίλα «τιτιβίσματα»:
